About the event

The 9th Seminar of University Knowledge Bases will be held online on March 22-24. It is the largest event in Central and Eastern Europe dedicated to a variety of issues related to open science and science management.

The 9th Seminar of University Knowledge Bases, organized annually since 2014, is a place where meet and discuss the authorities responsible for organizing and funding scientific research, managers at universities responsible for research, researchers, librarians, as well as people who create IT systems for knowledge and science management. Participation in the event is free. This year, simultaneous translation from Polish to English and vice versa will be provided during the conference.

During the event, we will have the opportunity to listen to distinguished guests from European universities and international organizations, discussing topics related to the management of science. The agenda includes, inter alia

  • Rankings of the university research – criteria, data, and methods
  • Panel: IT infrastructure of Polish universities – current state and perspectives for development
  • New methods of the research evaluation
